When Spring Fairs are over…

Every year in March Düsseldorf becomes the centre and hub of the international wine and spirits sector. This year ProWein attracted more than 52,000 trade visitors – a rise of 7% from the previous year (49,048 visitors in 2014). It was soon followed by another significant international wine event – Vinitaly. In 2015 Vinitaly draw attention of professonals from 140 countries, as well as 2,600 journalists from 46 countries. As ProWein and Vinitaly are now gone, here is a selection of the main upcoming events in the world of wine:

 

1. London (UK): London International Wine Fair, 18-20 May, 2015.   App. number of exhibitors: 600

2. Guangzhou (China): Winexpo. 4-6 June, 2015.  App. Number of exhibitors: 800

3. Bordeaux (France): Vinexpo, 14-18 June, 2015.   App. number of exhibitors: 2400.  App.number of trade visitors: 48,000

4. Beijing (China): Best Wine China, 6-8 November, 2015.  App. number of exhibitors: 350.  App.number of visitors: 14,000

5. Shanghai (China): ProWein China, 11-13 November, 2015.

6. Montpellier (France): Millesime Bio, 25-27 January 2016.  App. number of exhibitors: 800.  App. number of trade visitors: 4800

7. Dusseldorf (Germany): ProWein, 13-15 March 2016.  App. number of exhibitors: 5,900. App. number of trade visitors: 52,000.

8. Singapore (China): ProWein Asia, 12-15 April 2016.  App. number of trade visitors: 45,000

9. Stockholm (Sweden): GastroNord & Vinordic, 26-29 April, 2016.  App. number of exhibitors: 70
